FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

What should a couple pay attention to when interviewing DJs for their big day?

The DJ you choose for any event MUST be someone you “click” with. Before deciding on a DJ to cover your most special day, research will be your best friend. Check out their website, social media, pay close attention to reviews, photos, options, etc. Important things to ask…

  1. How long have you been in business?
  2. Do you have insurance?
  3. Is your music edited?
  4. Do you have back up equipment on site?
  5. What happens in the event you can’t perform your duties?

How does a couple know if lighting options are right for them?

Most DJs offer some sort of lighting in your basic package, whether to add more is totally personal preference. In making your decision, ask your DJ, photographer/videographer, venue, etc. what they think. Some venues are just fine with no extra lighting. Of course, there are others that really need that little extra pizzazz. Uplighting in a venue adds a romantic ambiance and flare that not only excites your crowd, but also makes for exquisite photos.

What makes you different from your competitors?

The thing that sets us apart from others in the industry is we want to learn everything we possibly can about you. Most companies are very quick to tell you what they will do at your wedding. For example, bridal party introductions, how they  arrange the timing, and why they are the best choice for you. While we will be happy to help with all these things and more, we want to know exactly what it will take to make all your wedding day dreams come to life. Everyone has a different expectation for what their special day will be. It’s our pleasure to make everything you want and so much more!

Do you provide a written agreement?

Absolutely! A written legal contract is a MUST! It not only lays out everything to expect your special day, it covers all fees, and how payments will be arranged. It ensures your protection as well as the DJ. Anytime money is involved you want written protection for yourself.

Is it extra money for the DJ to also act as the MC/Master of Ceremonies?

No extra charge. Your DJ and MC are part of what we offer in all of our packages. This ensures you and your guests are able to enjoy your evening without having to wonder what happens next. We control the flow by facilitating special events and coordinating with other vendors to ensure everyone is where they need to be at any given time.

How does it work with retainer & final payment?

In order to retain our services, we require a non refundable retainer of $200-$400 due upon signing the contract. This retainer is held and will be applied to the final balance. Any other monies due will be expected one week prior to your event. While some choose to pay the entire amount in full upon signing contract, we do not expect/require this.
